HOW TO BOOK

Groups and parties, including coach parties and school groups, are welcome 7 days a week - daytime or evening, within reason.
Visits can normally only take place during the same period of the year that the museum is open (Easter - end of October) although we can sometimes squeeze in a few visits during November before we pack the museum up for the Winter but these must be booked well before the end of October.

Please phone our Groups Organiser Sally Harrison on 01638 601508 to check the availability of your choice of date before you send your booking form.

    OTHER INFORMATION

The Museum Trustees and all the helpers are un-paid volunteers. If you turn up without booking there is a good chance that the Museum will not be open and nobody will be available to show you around.

Group/Tour Leaders (or teachers) are recommended to visit the Museum in advance to plan the group visit. Please contact us if you would like to speak to the Groups Organiser on site.
Small coaches/mini-buses can come in to Mill Close to drop passengers off and then park in Mill Lane. Full size coaches can come into Mill Close but drivers may find it easier to park in the High Street and their passengers walk up to the museum.

A 10% cash-back incentive is available for the coach driver/tour leader upon receipt of balance.

If your group are travelling in cars they can park in Mill Close next to the windmill and on the grass around the windmill but space is limited so please park in the Gardiner Memorial Hall car park (see "How To Find Us" page) if more than 6 cars are coming or your visit is during our public opening hours.

There are 2 cash dispensers in Burwell. One is located at Barclays Bank in Parsonage Lane and the other inside the Co-Op in North Street. The Co-Op also offers a "Cash Back" service with purchases made by credit/debit card.
